She was in the car seat just now, and i was giving her water in her MagMag cup.. (by the way she is drinking more water now, with the MagMag cup.. she luvs to use the straw! ya, even the long ones we use..) ok.. anyway.. suddenly i realised.. she was trying to sign Water! by rubbing her hands over her mouth.. Gosh! she's been doing that for such a long time... and terrible me did not realise its her signing Water!
We went to the PD today for her nagging cough, and there was this big fish tank at Dr Ong's clinic (yups, not that Dr Tan that did her assessment.. Hmph!) I walked her over to the fish tank and she clapped her hands together. I then realised she was trying to sign Fish (action of 2 hands clammed together and then sway hands from side to side like fish swimming) .. cos later, when we approach the fish tank again, she did the same action!
Shauna loves to brush her teeth. Every evening after we change her to her PJs she will demand us to brush her teeth for her. If she sees the toothbrush (rubber finger brush, or the pigeon toothbrush) she will point at them. Then we know she wants to brush teeth. But several times, she was whining and insisting i carry her.. and then putting her finger in her mouth. I didnt know what she wanted, and keep telling her, no Mummy doesnt want to carry you.. its time to sleep. It might be that she is trying to sign Brush Teeth.. (action of finger brushing teeth)... so i must observe more closely going fw..
