Prawn Fishing

There is a prawn fishing pond at Punggol end, and we checked it out on sat morning. At first it started to rain when we were on our way there, and we made a u-turn to head home. Then suddenly the rain stopped, so we u-turn back again. Glad we did.

I have been reading abt fishing, and have been wanting to fish using a rod and bait. (last round we went longkang fishing not counted, use net to catch one!) I couldnt wait!! Even tho we did not fish fish.. but fish prawns also just as exciting.
I caught one, Jarel caught one, Mummy caught one... and Daddy caught the rest. Total 8! We carried our precious cargo home carefully (they were still alive and kicking!) and the big people were discussing how best to cook these prawns - steam with garlic? bake with butter? Actually for 1 hour effort, i think we did quite good. Effectively, we caught 1 every 7.5mins!

At time of posting, the prawns are still in our freezer. Haven eaten them yet.
