Daddy and Mummy brot me to KindyRoo for trial class on saturday. When we got there, it was free playtime for the first 10-15minutes. Before we entered the class, the teacher cleaned my hands and legs with the antibacterial spray and stamped the day's theme on my right hand and right foot. That is to teach me to recognise my right side. That day's theme was Bucket and Spade.
Free playtime was fun cos Daddy keep challenging me to do this and that.. before i knew it, it was mat time and i was attracted to the bubbles that the trainers were blowing.. when we all got settled at the mat, we started with the hello song, followed by some singing and dancing - today they concentrated on hands and legs movements. I was a boat swaying from side to side... i was a crab, with my elbows moving up and down and my knees closing in and out while we were seated. Dance, we danced to the music: "put your right hand in, put your right hand out... .do the hooky pooky and turn around.. tats what its all about ! Yeah!!" My favourite!
After mat time, there was again some free play but this time the trainers will guide us to use certain equipment and the purpose for it. Following that its mat time again - i like this schedule, cos i dun get bored with mat time.. they break it up. This round, we had our treasure bag - supposed to bring an item each week, and put into the treasure bag - when the teacher bring out my item, i am supposed to identify and walk over to collect.. but today was our first day, so I did not bring my bucket and spade with me... boo hoo..
Then it was music appreciation - and then class ended with the parachute, which i didnt like at all + the goodbye song. Mummy is hoping i will get used to it as i continue going for subsequent lessons.
No pics for this, cos Mummy had to sign a consent form with all the terms - one of which is no picture taking within the facility. but she is going to try snap some pics next week using her handphone..
