(Mummy:) Shauna recently likes to challenge my decisions. Why i bathe first everytime? Why did you let Jarel go up the car first? Why you give Jarel, dun give me? Why you say Jarel good boy, never say i am good girl? There was one ultimate question, Mummy why you so unfair?
Tried to explain to her my decision each time. But sometimes i get so impatient and annoyed, and will just rebut her - Dun challenge my decisions! my decisions are final!! But then again, i am very hurt that my princess thinks i am being unfair, and always siding Jarel - when i already tried my utmost to be fair and just. When she asked these types of questions, i also get very irritated, cos she will use her whining voice that drives me crazy!
I am at my wits end. Telling her she is my special princess, and i love her more than anything doesnt seem to help?! Hope that this is just a phase, and some day when she is older she will understand..
Any suggestions??

Very headache indeed! Did you ask her why she thinks you were unfair? I'm sure Shauna so smart will understand when you explain to her (even though when you may do it later when you have more patience and already cool down). Heng, BW did not say so yet, think girls are more mature and sensitive ya!
have u tried asking her to talk nicely whenever she whines? when my boy whines, i'll ask him to talk nicely otherwise i would not answer or acknowledge his request.
