Today's theme in class is Gingerbread Man. So Mummy decided to make a batch of Gingerbread man for me to take to class. She's been working late the whole week.. this must be to make it up to me! Before she went to bed yesterday, she made a batch of dough and chilled it in the fridge.
In the morning after i woke, she started to roll out the dough and used the cookie cutter to cut out my Gingerbread pals. Daddy and me were in charge of drawing their smiley faces and putting the fruit bits for their buttons. They baked for 10 mins in the oven.
They turned out quite well. Actually more of shortbread than gingerbread as Mummy did not have all the ingredients for gingerbread.
I sat by them as they cooled on the rack... Jarel was wondering what's going on the whole morning. Keep going, "Eh! Eh!" to get our attention... Not now Jarel, we are busy! I bet he can't wait to grow up quickly.
